Job summary

Integrated Proteins in Saint Joseph, MO, is hiring a Plant Production Technician to support production of protein meal for dry pet foods. You will obtain samples, inspect bulk trailers, and load/unload materials while maintaining production lines and following safety and food safety rules.

Responsibilities include operating loaders and hoppers, performing equipment checks, completing paperwork, and keeping the facility clean.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, climb stairs, and work in hot or cold temperatures.
• Attention to safety and food safety procedures (cGMP/OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Produce protein meal and assist in loading/unloading bulk products.
• Obtain samples, inspect trailers, and transport materials to lab for analyses.
• Operate loaders, scissor lift, and hopper doors as part of production.
• Complete paperwork for trailer inspections and product movements.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety rules; wear protective gear.
