Job summary

Integrated Proteins is seeking a Plant Production Technician to support the production of protein meal for dry pet foods at our St. Joseph, MO facility.

The role involves sample collection, inspections, loading/unloading, equipment cleaning, and strict adherence to cGMP and food safety protocols. Responsibilities include operating a scissor lift, front-end loader, and load-out systems, while maintaining good housekeeping and completing all required safety training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Obtain samples from bulk hopper trailers using a 15-foot rod.
• Unload bulk hopper trailers by swinging a mallet to release product.
• Operate front-end loader to move product to mixer and bays.
• Monitor processing equipment for issues and safety.
• Collect samples and transport to the lab for analysis.
• Complete trailer inspections and related paperwork.
