Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist frequently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from waist to crown occasionally.
• Ability to shovel up to 50 pounds of animal protein and toss it approximately 3 feet.
• Ability to frequently climb ladders and walk up several flights of stairs.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift; schedule may exceed 8 hours.
• Ability to push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to kneel, crouch, or bend.
• Ability to work overhead.
• Ability to withstand hot or cold temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment and loaders.
• Obtain samples from bulk hopper trailers and lab-analyze samples.
• Load and unload bulk hopper trailers and tote products.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas following cGMP and SOPs.
• Complete required safety, food safety, and OSHA training.
• Ensure proper paperwork and labeling for product movements.
