Job summary

Integrated Proteins, LLC is seeking a Plant Production Technician in Kansas City, KS to support the manufacture of protein meal for dry pet foods. You will perform sampling, inspections, loading/unloading of materials, and equipment operation to ensure smooth production.

You will collect samples for lab analysis, complete required paperwork, and uphold strict cGMP and safety standards. A strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist repeatedly.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and work in hot or cold temperatures.
• Willingness to follow safety and food safety rules and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Carry out production of protein meal, including sampling and inspections.
• Unload and load bulk and tote products and operate equipment.
• Monitor processing systems and report any issues.
• Collect samples and transport to the lab for analyses.
• Complete paperwork for trailer inspections and product movements.
• Maintain good housekeeping and use PPE as required.
• Adhere to cGMP, OSHA training, and safety procedures.
