Job summary
ICF is seeking a power engineering professional to develop relay settings and protection philosophies for distribution equipment and to model electrical systems using simulation programs.
You will provide remote field support to test engineers and mentor less experienced staff in power engineering principles, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project goals. This role offers collaboration across disciplines in a dynamic consulting environment.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering and at least 5 years of relay settings experience.
- Professional Engineer license preferred.
- Experience with IEC 61850 or Schweitzer relays preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop relay settings and protection philosophies for distribution equipment.
- Model electrical systems using simulation programs.
- Provide remote field support to test engineers.
- Mentor less experienced staff in power engineering principles.
