Job summary

ICF is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to develop relay settings and protection philosophies for distribution equipment and model electrical systems using state-of-the-art simulation tools. This role includes mentoring less experienced staff and providing remote field support to test engineers.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in relay settings, and a Professional Engineering license is preferred. Experience with IEC 61850 or Schweitzer relays is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with at least 5 years of relay settings experience.
• Professional Engineering license and IEC 61850 or Schweitzer relays preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relay settings and protection philosophies for distribution equipment and model electrical systems using simulation programs.
• Provide remote field support to test engineers and mentor less experienced staff in power engineering principles.
