ICF is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Relay Settings to join our team and help shape the future of electric utility solutions through protection and control engineering.

You will develop relay settings and protection philosophies for distribution equipment, review design packages, and provide remote field support during installation. Strong background in electrical engineering theory and practical knowledge of protection schemes required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, preferably electrical or computer engineering.
• 5+ years of experience developing relay settings and protection philosophies for transmission, sub‑transmission or distribution equipment.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering theories and principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop relay settings and protection philosophies for distribution equipment.
• Review protection and control design packages.
• Provide remote field support to relay test engineers during installation.
• Model electrical systems in power simulation programs (CAPE, ASPEN, CYME).
• Create technical reports, calculations and documentation.
• Mentor less experienced engineers in power engineering concepts.
