Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Agent in Tempe to help keep customers, teams and brands safe, deter shrinkage, and protect assets across the store.

You will work with the Emergency Response Team to respond to incidents and support investigations using surveillance, reports and data. The role requires strong decision-making, excellent verbal and written communication, confidentiality, and a flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Resolve theft by using good judgment and proper apprehensions in high shrinkage areas.
• Identify theft trends using technology, reporting and surveillance tactics.
• Drive shrinkage reduction by implementing action plans and protection standards.
• Identify, escalate and support internal theft investigations through various methods.
• Investigate internal theft by gathering evidence and coordinating with AP leadership and investigations teams.
• Use video systems to monitor theft activity and support investigations.
• Leverage RFID data to view merchandise movement and aid item-level investigations.
• Maintain safety and security of customers and employees; respond to incidents and report them.
