Nordstrom is seeking an Asset Protection Agent in Phoenix to safeguard customers, teams and brands by preventing shrinkage and investigating theft. You will partner with the store Emergency Response Team and leadership to ensure merchandise is available and secure, while maintaining a calm, confidential approach in high-stakes situations.

Responsibilities include identifying theft trends, leading security audits, and preparing detailed incident reports.

Qualifications

• Valid security license required in specified jurisdictions.
• Ability to make fast, justified decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of confidentiality and discretion.

Responsabilités

• Resolve theft with proper apprehensions following policy and AP guidance.
• Identify theft trends using technology, reporting and surveillance tactics.
• Drive shrinkage reduction through action plans and merchandise protection standards.
• Investigate internal theft with AP Leadership and Investigation teams.
• Use video systems to monitor theft activity and support investigations.
• Maintain safety and security of customers and employees; respond to incidents and report.
• Prepare and submit prompt reports for high-profile incidents and investigations.
• Testify in court when summoned.
