Electric Power Systems (EPS) seeks a Relay Technician II to perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection and control relays. The role emphasizes safety, technical proficiency, and project support through testing, troubleshooting, and reporting.

Collaboration with senior technicians and engineers is essential for progression in relay protection schemes. The position requires hands-on relay experience, the ability to read electrical diagrams, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, testing & repairing protective relays in transmission, generation or distribution substations.
• Ability to read one-line/three-line diagrams and protection logic.
• Commitment to safety and incident prevention in all tasks.

Responsabilités

• Perform relay testing with guidance from senior technicians and engineers.
• Execute element, logic, and basic functional testing of protective relays and control systems.
• Analyze readings and events to verify system performance and troubleshoot.
• Develop testing and isolation plans ensuring safe execution of work.
• Create detailed reports and commissioning records for clients.
• Communicate clearly with team members and project stakeholders.
