Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Murfreesboro, Tennessee is seeking a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist to deliver comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic care in a high-volume clinic.

You will assess patients, design, fabricate, and fit devices, and collaborate with physicians and the rehabilitation team to optimize outcomes. Join a nationwide network of clinics offering advanced O&P solutions; you will educate patients, document clinical notes, and contribute to practice management and reimbursement activities while

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics (ABC or BOC) or eligible.
• Bachelor’s degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent with ABC Board-Eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Licensure as required by state where applicable.
• Experience with non-certified candidates who have 5+ years of prosthetic/orthotic services under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to assess need for prosthetic/orthotic services and advise on treatment options.
• Evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design prosthetic and/or orthotic devices.
• Select materials, take cast measurements, model modifications and layouts.
• Perform fitting and static/dynamic alignments; ensure accurate fit and efficacy.
• Instruct patients on use of devices and provide follow-up.
