Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Nashville seeks an experienced Prosthetist and/or Orthotist to join a hospital-based pediatric orthotics team. You will evaluate patients, design and fit devices, and collaborate with physicians to improve pediatric outcomes.

Prosthetics experience is welcome but not required; strong pediatric orthotics expertise is essential. You will mentor residents and deliver high-quality care across clinic and hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC certification in Prosthetics/Orthotics.
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics/orthotics or foreign equivalent with ABC Board-Eligibility.
• Valid driver's license and driving record within policy standards.
• In states with licensure requirements, ability to obtain/maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate prosthetic/orthotic needs and propose options.
• Develop treatment plans and manage device fitting and adjustments.
• Measure casts, select materials, and model modifications.
• Provide patient education and follow-up with patients and physicians.
• Mentor residents or newly certified clinicians when available.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and participate in reimbursement activities.
