Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks a Prosthetist/Orthotist to advance patient mobility across its nationwide network of clinics.

You will assess patient needs, design and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff to deliver superior outcomes. With 160 years of clinical excellence, Hanger operates over 900 clinics nationwide and emphasizes innovation, training, and comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record within policy standards.
• In states with licensure, ability to obtain and maintain licensure.
• May consider non-certified candidates with 5+ years of demonstrated experience.
• Willing to see patients in both disciplines while completing residency in the other discipline.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate prosthetic/orthotic needs and recommend treatment options.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design prosthetic/orthotic devices and select materials.
• Perform fitting, static and dynamic alignments, and ensure device efficacy.
• Maintain thorough clinical notes and provide patient follow-up.
