Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Mesa, AZ seeks a Prosthetist/Orthotist to provide comprehensive patient care, including evaluation, design, fitting and follow-up of custom devices. You will work with an experienced team across prosthetics and orthotics, leveraging local fabrication resources to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

The role blends clinical care and patient relationships, with access to continuing education and back-office support to advance practice within a large national O&P network.

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics (ABC or BOC).
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent with ABC eligibility.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• State licensure as required by location.
• Open to dual-discipline practice with cross-training.
• Experience under supervision acceptable for non-certified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate need for prosthetic/orthotic services.
• Assess patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design prosthetic and/or orthotic devices and plans.
• Take casts, modify models, and select materials.
• Perform fitting and static/dynamic alignments.
• Provide follow-up and instruction to patients and clinicians.
• Maintain thorough clinical notes and records.
• Assist with practice management and collaboration with staff.
