Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Colorado seeks a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist to join its nationwide network of clinics. You will assess patients, design, fabricate and fit prostheses and orthoses, and collaborate with physicians and the rehabilitation team to deliver outstanding outcomes.

With access to advanced technologies and ongoing professional training, you will provide patient-centered care, document clinical notes, and mentor residents as needed, while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics (ABC or BOC).
• Baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent with ABC eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Ability to obtain state licensure where required.
• Experienced candidates may be considered without certification if 5+ years in prosthetic/orthotic services.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate prosthetic/orthotic needs and options.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design prosthetic and/or orthotic devices.
• Take cast measurements, model modifications, and layouts.
• Perform fitting with static and dynamic alignments.
• Evaluate device fit, function, and patient satisfaction.
• Instruct patients in the use of prosthetic and/or orthotic devices.
• Provide detailed clinical notes in patient records.
• May mentor residents or newly certified clinicians.
