Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Avondale, Arizona, is seeking a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist to provide comprehensive patient care across prosthetics and orthotics, including evaluation, design, fitting and follow-up.

You will work with an experienced team in a clinic with local fabrication capabilities, dedicated administrative support, and onsite fitter/extender, serving adult and pediatric patients. Current ABC or BOC board certification or eligibility is required, along with a valid driver’s license and

Qualifications

• Current certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics by ABC or BOC, or eligible.
• Baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics is required.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record within policy standards.
• State licensure as required by the state.
• Candidates with dual disciplines or residency in progress may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate patient needs for prosthetic/orthotic services.
• Formulate designs for prosthetic/orthotic devices and select materials.
• Perform fitting and adjust devices to ensure fit and efficacy.
• Provide patient instruction on device use and follow-up care.
• Maintain detailed clinical notes and participate in practice management.
