Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Prosthetist/Orthotist to evaluate, design, fit and follow up on prosthetic and orthotic devices for diverse patient populations in Avondale, AZ.

You will work with physicians, therapists and patients to deliver high-quality outcomes, adhering to clinical guidelines and leveraging advanced orthotic/prosthetic technologies while developing strong professional relationships.

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.
• Alternatively, a prosthetics/orthotics bachelor’s degree with ABC board-eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record within policy standards.
• In states with licensure, ability to obtain and maintain licensure.
• Willingness to mentor residents or newly certified clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate need for prosthetic/orthotic services.
• Design and fit prosthetic and/or orthotic devices for patients.
• Provide comprehensive patient care, evaluation, fitting and follow-up.
• Plan care using local fabrication resources to ensure quality outcomes.
• Document detailed clinical notes and maintain patient records.
