Job summary

Responsibilities

• Administer, supervise, or perform prosthetic and sensory aids services to disabled patients.
• Plan, develop, and direct Prosthetic and Sensory Aids programs at national, VISN or local level.
• Advise clinicians on prosthetic device selection and procurement; interpret prescriptions for proper devices.
• Authorize purchase, fabrication or repair of prosthetic devices; liaise with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Provide technical and administrative support on prosthetic problems to other facilities.
