Job summary

Veterans Health Administration is seeking a Prosthetic Representative (Service Chief) to lead the Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service at the West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System. This senior role directs all PSAS operations to ensure high‑quality prosthetic and sensory aid support across inpatient, outpatient, and domiciliary care.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with at least 24 semester hours in health care, public administration, or business.
One year of creditable experience or an education/experience combination.
Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, inventory management, and ability to use computer software for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service (PSAS) operations.
Direct and coordinate PSAS to deliver prosthetics and sensory aid support across care settings.
Recruit, hire, and supervise PSAS staff and ensure compliance with VA policies.
Collaborate with clinical teams to integrate care and improve service delivery.
