Job summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Lexington VAMC, Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service seeks a Prosthetic Representative to administer prosthetic and sensory aids services to disabled patients. Bases include citizenship, English proficiency, and a qualifying combination of experience or education, including a bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework or equivalent experience.

The role spans GS-5 to GS-11 levels, with duties to liaise with health care providers, manage durable medical equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 24 semester hours in relevant coursework (health care, public administration or business).
• 24 semester hours may be in occupational therapy, physical therapy, or related fields.
• Transcript copy required for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide prosthetic and sensory aids services to disabled patients.
• Administer, supervise, or perform work related to prosthetic items/services.
• Coordinate with clinicians, patients, and vendors to ensure appropriate devices.
