Job summary

Bushnell University seeks a Visit and Event Coordinator to shape the prospective student experience through campus visits, group tours, and recruit events. You will oversee the visit and event programming and supervise the student tour guide team.

Reporting to the Dean of Admissions, you’ll coordinate schedules, logistics, and communications, ensuring welcoming, informative experiences aligned with Bushnell’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (master’s preferred).
• Experience in event coordination, campus programming, hospitality, admissions, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and deadlines.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to collaborate with individuals and teams across an organization.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and develop student tour guides.
• Coordinate tour guide schedules for campus visits, Preview Days, and events.
• Provide coaching to strengthen communication, leadership, hospitality, and presentation skills.
• Set standards for tour quality, customer service, and campus representation.
• Equip guides with accurate information about programs, life, and resources.
• Lead planning and execution of Preview Days and other recruitment events.
