Job summary

Bushnell University is seeking an Admissions Counselor for Online Undergraduate Programs to guide prospective students from inquiry to enrollment. You will provide information on programs, admissions, financial aid, and enrollment procedures, serving as the primary contact throughout the process.

You'll collaborate with Academic Advising and other departments to ensure accurate evaluations, timely decisions, and a seamless student experience for online and ABSN pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in academic advising or admissions in a university setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Commitment to FERPA and student confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage enrollment and onboarding for Online Undergraduate Programs.
• Represent the university at college fairs and recruitment events.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage inquiries, applications, admissions decisions, and enrollment deposits.
• Review completed applications to ensure admissions requirements are met.
• Provide guidance on transfer credit evaluations and program eligibility.
• Communicate admissions requirements, financial aid, and enrollment procedures.
• Serve as a liaison between prospective students and university departments.
• Prepare, maintain, and update admissions records and reports.
• Assist in planning admissions, recruitment, and onboarding events.
• Support prospective students through the admissions process.
