Job summary

Cal Poly seeks a Prospect Development Analyst to conduct prospect research and analysis to support fundraising efforts. You will collaborate with development staff to identify and manage major gift prospects and donors using wealth screening data and other tools.

The role serves as a campus resource for major donor information, applying policies and procedures to ensure accurate evaluation and tracking across the university. This position reports to the Director of Prospect Management & Research.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university and one year of technical or administrative experience.
• A graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
• Ability to learn, interpret, and apply university policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality prospect research, analysis, and prospect management in support of fundraising initiatives.
• Partner with development staff to identify, evaluate, maintain and track qualified major gift prospects and donors.
• Serve as a campus resource for information regarding major donors and prospects and apply policies as needed.
