Job summary

The California State University is seeking a Prospect Development Analyst at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. You will conduct prospect research and analysis to support fundraising initiatives across the university, collaborating with development staff to identify and manage major gift prospects.

You will serve as a campus resource on donors and prospects, applying judgment and interpreting policies to ensure accurate tracking and reporting in support of university goals.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university and one year of technical or administrative experience.
• Graduate degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• Experience with prospect research, fundraising analytics, and donor information systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality prospect research, analysis, and management to support fundraising across the university.
• Partner with development staff to identify, evaluate, maintain and track major gift prospects using wealth screening data and tools.
• Serve as a campus resource on major donors and prospects, applying independent judgment and interpreting policies.
