Job summary

Cal Poly is seeking a Prospect Development Analyst to perform high-quality prospect research and management in support of fundraising across the university. You will collaborate with development staff to identify and track major donors using wealth screening and other tools.

The role requires applying independent judgment, learning university policies, and maintaining relationships with donors within the UDAE division.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university and one year of technical or administrative experience.
• A graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
• Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct prospect research, analysis, and management to support fundraising initiatives.
• Identify, evaluate, maintain and track qualified major gift prospects and donors.
• Partner with development staff to apply independent judgment and interpret policies.
