Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking an Advancement Coordinator within the Philanthropic Strategy Team of University Advancement.

The role provides operational support, manages dashboards, coordinates leadership travel, and prepares briefing materials to support donor strategy execution. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Support Services and is part of the administrative support team for Philanthropic Strategy.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.
• Certifications/Professional Licenses: No specific certification/professional license is required for this position.
• Work Experience: Relevant Experience (3 Years)

• Driver’s License: A driver’s license is not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support focused on the management of the unit’s top prospects and dean’s portfolio.
• Review and facilitate the team’s support of active and planned philanthropic proposals designated to the unit, and related actions needed.
• Manage and update dashboards; track and coordinate execution of tasks to drive accountability of colleagues across UA.
• Organize and attend internal meetings with territory gift officers to strategize and plan dean travel and visits.
• Facilitate post-meeting follow up by coordinating next steps and adjustments to strategy.
• Maintain reporting documents for gift officer requests for Dean visits, including recommended prospects, prospects approved for outreach.
