Job summary

AIPAC’s Washington, D.C. office seeks a Manager of Prospect Research to lead the donor research program, build and manage prospect pipelines, and deliver insights to development teams to support major gifts efforts.

The role requires extensive qualitative and quantitative research, sophisticated wealth screenings, and collaboration with regional managers to align research with fundraising goals. The position follows a hybrid schedule in our DC offices with some remote work.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in prospect research or a related field.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with experience using a variety of prospect research tools.
• Experience using specialized publications, industry news sources, and open-source intel techniques to surface major gift prospects.
• Familiarity with networking to surface warm introductions and high-potential prospects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth prospect research on major donors, including wealth assessments, giving history, relationships, and philanthropic capacity.
• Deliver actionable reports and insights to frontline staff for donor acquisition and engagement.
• Manage prospect management, tracking, and pipeline systems across CRM and engagement platforms.
• Collaborate with regional teams to align research priorities with development goals and ensure compliance and confidentiality.
