Job summary

AIPAC’s New York office seeks a Director to significantly grow financial support for pro-Israel candidates and the organization. The role focuses on cultivating donor commitments, expanding revenue, and mobilizing pro-Israel Americans to contribute at high levels to candidates and Congress.

Candidates should have a proven track record in fundraising, sales, or related fields, with strong relationship-building and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in political fundraising or related field.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build strong donor relationships and close high-level solicitations.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar donor-management tools.
• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a development plan to increase support and grow revenue through high-level solicitations and donor cultivation.
• Build and sustain relationships with current high-level donors to increase investment.
• Identify, cultivate, and solicit new donors for pro-Israel candidates and AIPAC.
• Solicit current donors to fulfill political commitments for pro-Israel candidates and Members of Congress.
• Meet quarterly and annual retention, upgrade and acquisition goals for pro-Israel politics and AIPAC.
• Identify, recruit and develop lay leadership for local political leadership roles.
• Provide timely political and policy updates to inspire involvement in pro-Israel politics and AIPAC.
• Maintain Salesforce CRM with accurate campaign data and activities.
