Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in prospect research or related field.
• Five or more years of experience in prospect research and identification.
• Experience leading a research team and collaborating with prospect management.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with CRMs, data security and ethics in fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and evaluate all research efforts across units.
• Hire, train and supervise research staff; design growth plans.
• Set strategic goals for research aligning with Operations.
• Develop methods to report productivity and contributions.
• Conduct detailed biographical, business and financial research.
• Identify new donors and high-potential leadership groups.
• Maintain quality control and standardize research materials.
• Collaborate with Prospect Management, Analytics and leadership.
