Job summary

Herc Rentals invites ambitious students and recent graduates to apply for the ProSales Intern role in Greensboro, NC. This 10-week internship provides hands-on exposure to sales, branch operations, and customer interactions while developing core skills for a future in the equipment rental industry.

You will work with Territory Sales Representatives, visit customer sites, assist with lead generation, and learn systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate pursuing a career in sales or customer facing roles.
• 0–2 years of customer service or sales-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foundational Learning & Orientation: participate in onboarding and safety training; gain exposure to systems and equipment.
• Sales & Field Development: observe customer interactions, visit sites, support lead generation and customer relations.
• Operational Training: learn equipment knowledge and POS basics; understand reservations, sales orders, returns, and availability.
• Career Exploration: explore pathway into the ProSales Associate program and future sales roles.
