Job summary

Herc Rentals is offering a ProSales Intern program in the United States designed for early career individuals eager to explore sales in the equipment rental industry. This 10-week internship provides hands-on exposure to Herc Rentals’ people, products, systems, and branch operations, with a path toward Herc's Black and Gold Academy.

Interns will gain real-world sales experience by supporting lead generation, visiting job sites, and learning Point of Sales and reservations.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate pursuing a career in sales or customer facing roles.
• 0–2 years of customer service or sales related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in branch orientation, onboarding, and safety training during your first week.
• Work alongside Territory Sales Representatives to observe customer interactions and sales best practices.
• Visit customer job sites to understand project needs, equipment applications, and sales opportunities.
• Support lead generation activities, customer outreach efforts, and develop in-person customer relations.
• Learn equipment knowledge and POS basics, including reservations and sales orders.
