Job summary

Herc Rentals is launching the ProSales Associate program for early career professionals. The role combines formal training with hands-on field exposure to build a long-term sales career within a Fortune 1000 organization.

You will participate in the Black and Gold Academy, learn the full product portfolio, and shadow experienced reps to understand project needs and equipment applications. The program culminates in potential placement as a Territory Sales Representative.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of sales experience or relevant customer facing experience.
• Recent graduates or early career candidates encouraged to apply.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
• Interest in a long term sales career with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Black and Gold Academy, a structured, high impact sales development program.
• Shadow Territory Sales Representatives and visit customer job sites to learn sales best practices.
• Assist with customer outreach, lead generation, and supporting revenue growth within assigned territories.
• Learn branch operations, equipment processes, logistics coordination, and customer service functions.
