Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Fluids & Propulsion Test Engineer for the MK2 Alpha Lander team in Seattle. You will own engine testing, ground support equipment activation, and system-level testing across cryogenic and fluids subsystems.

You will lead test campaigns, develop methods, supervise technicians, and ensure safety compliance while driving repeatable spaceflight verification for crewed lunar missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, chemical, or related engineering field.
• 4+ years of propulsion testing experience.
• Experience developing, writing, and executing test procedures.
• Ability to read P&ID schematics and layout designs.
• Experience with fluids systems installation and checkout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test procedures for facility sub-systems.
• Design, plan, fabricate, install, and operate pneumatic and cryogenic test capabilities.
• Develop test methods to efficiently complete integrated system testing.
• Maintain fluids test equipment configuration control, calibration, and traceability.
• Write test procedures and update during test campaigns.
• Oversee vendor design and fabrication of fluids test equipment.
