Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 3+ years of hands-on propulsion testing experience.
• Direct experience as Test Director during live engine/hot-fire events.
• Proficiency in Python-based automation on Linux/Unix.
• Strong Linux/Unix command-line and networking knowledge.
• Hands-on CAN bus interfacing for ECUs and test rigs.
• Experience selecting, wiring, and calibrating sensors (pressure, temperature, load cells).
• Eligible for U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Test Director during hot-fire runs and manage test stand operations.
• Design, build, and maintain propulsion test hardware infrastructure.
• Author propulsion test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain automated Python test software on Linux/Unix.
• Implement and debug CAN bus interfaces with ECUs and controllers.
• Analyze post-test telemetry and generate test summary reports.
• Maintain and scale propulsion test cell facilities and safety procedures.
