Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Engineer for propulsion systems in Santa Ana, CA. You will develop system requirements, design test campaigns, and interface with customers to deliver high-quality propulsion products.

The role involves working with FADEC/ECU systems, sensors, actuators, and engine testing. Bachelor’s degree required; 2+ years in relevant fields; US person due to export controls; travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace or similar.
• 2+ years engineering experience in gas turbine/aerospace/defense/automotive sectors.
• Strong understanding of propulsion physics, motion control, heat transfer.

Responsibilities

• Develop system requirements and test campaigns for propulsion applications.
• Design campaigns to satisfy program feature requirements.
• Interface with program and customer demands to deliver propulsion products.
• Work with engine control systems including FADEC/ECU/Starter-Generators.
• Develop test stands and instrumentation for engine testing and integration.
• Test, diagnose, and analyze engine data on stands and in flight tests.
• Collaborate with electrical/mechanical/software/test engineers.
• Work on the coolest engines in the aviation business.
