Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Production Test Engineer to support propulsion test hardware and software capabilities, coordinating tests, training operators, resolving nonconformances, and expanding test stations.

The role includes weekend support after onboarding, with two shift options (Wednesday–Saturday or Saturday–Tuesday) and an emphasis on improving test automation, data acquisition, and collaboration with internal engineering teams to ensure flight hardware

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience with hardware testing in a production environment.
• 3+ years experience using enterprise system software such as SAP.

Responsibilities

• Disposition and resolve test failures and flight hardware non-conformances
• Improve test automation, data acquisition, and data analysis to improve test efficiency and cycle times
• Work with hardware subsystem owners to ensure test coverage is maintained across flight hardware design update cycles
• Work with hardware subsystem owners to refine test requirements and the methodologies to test against those requirements
• Train operators in the execution of developed testing and processes.
