Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is hiring a Front Line Support Test Engineer to plan and execute testing of satellite systems for Kuiper. You will lead bring-up, environmental and functional tests, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with engineering and operations to optimize production on the assembly line.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, 1+ years in aerospace hardware testing, and experience with embedded systems and Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in engineering field (mechanical/electrical) or equivalent.
• Experience testing embedded/flight hardware.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, document and execute test operations to validate satellite systems for flight and production build rates.
• Bring-up, test and troubleshoot integrated satellite assemblies.
• Lead acceptance and qualification test campaigns for development satellite designs.
• Analyze test failures and provide design recommendations to improve performance and yield.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and RF issues with cross-functional teams.
• Specify, procure and set up test cell layouts for production.
• Write technical specifications for system assembly and test.
