Job summary

The Propulsion Manufacturing team at Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a Manufacturing Functional Technician to support production of flight hardware. You will join a fast-paced team handling assembly, testing, and integration of propulsion subsystems and participate in continuous improvements.

Key duties include troubleshooting, inspecting critical quality points, and documenting processes while leveraging MES and SAP systems to track work and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant aerospace/automotive manufacturing test experience or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years hands-on work with electro-mechanical assemblies and final integration.
• Experience in fast-paced production environments with flight hardware.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing, assembly, and integration tasks across propulsion subsystems per engineering docs.
• Troubleshoot issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Conduct inspections and feedback on tooling, consumables, and process improvements.
• Document discrepancies and support training for new hires.
• Utilize MES and SAP for production tracking and traceability.
