Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead automation validating payload software for satellite systems. You will architect end-to-end test frameworks and own CI/CD pipelines, coordinating with payload software, RF, and systems engineering teams in a fast-paced, production-critical environment.

You will develop deep expertise in payload software behavior, signaling, and fault handling, driving architectural decisions to scale regression

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience in a modern language (e.g., Java, C++, C#).
5+ years in design/architecture of large-scale systems.
5+ years of non-internship software development experience.
3+ months of distributed systems experience or relevant degree.
Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
Experience building test automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

Architect and drive automated test frameworks for satellite payload software validation.
Develop deep expertise in payload software to define test strategies and scale tests.
Own CI/CD pipelines and rapid feedback for payload software changes.
Collaborate across payload software, systems engineering, RF, and operations.
Build scalable automation to reduce manual testing and accelerate releases.
Lead design and code reviews to raise quality across the team.
Influence architecture and roadmaps across multiple organizations.
