Job summary

Blue Origin in Van Horn, TX is seeking a Propulsion Test Engineer II to join the Engines team. You will support thruster test planning and execution, integrate hardware, analyze test data, and contribute to safety and reliability of propulsion systems.

You bring 2+ years of test experience, strong data analysis, and the ability to work independently on cross-functional projects. A master's in mechanical or aerospace engineering is preferred; LabVIEW/MATLAB skills and CAD experience are a plus.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of test experience and execution of test procedures.
  • Strong data analysis capabilities with test data review.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering standards and drawings.
  • U.S. citizen or eligible for U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Support thruster test planning and execution, including procedure development and scheduling.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks for safe, repeatable test campaigns.
  • Integrate thruster hardware for test campaigns with hands-on assembly and inspection.
  • Review test data to evaluate performance and identify trends or anomalies.
  • Contribute to test reports, anomaly investigations, and lessons learned.
  • Operate and maintain ground support equipment and fluid systems.
