Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Fluids & Propulsion Test Engineer in Florida to lead testing of main engine systems for the MK2 Alpha Lander. You will own test procedures, plan and execute campaigns, and supervise technicians on complex cryogenic and gas systems.

The role requires 8+ years in propulsion testing, familiarity with P&ID schematics, and strong data handling. This on-site position offers growth within a safety-focused culture and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, chemical or related engineering field.
  • Experience developing and executing test procedures for propulsion systems.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation for test campaigns.
  • Ability to coordinate test teams and maintain safety/compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test procedures of facility sub-systems to satisfy program objectives.
  • Design, plan, fabricate, install, and operate pneumatic and cryogenic test capabilities.
  • Develop test methods to efficiently complete integrated system testing.
  • Maintain fluids test equipment configuration control, calibration, and traceability.
  • Write test procedures, manage procedural updates during campaigns.
  • Oversee vendor design and fabrication of fluids test equipment and support equipment.
  • Participate in gated design and Test Readiness Reviews.
