Ursa Major Technologies is seeking a Propulsion Technician II to join Build Operations in Colorado. You will lead complex propulsion system builds, diagnose multi-disciplinary failures, and mentor technicians while working closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure high-quality hardware.

This full-time, non-exempt role offers hands-on leadership in development campaigns, rapid build efforts, and robust root-cause investigations. Eligibility for U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of propulsion, aerospace, or complex high-consequence hardware experience.
• Demonstrated mastery of propulsion system architecture and fluid systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot integrated system-level failures.
• Experience supporting development campaigns and complex test operations.
• Strong cross-functional communication and influence capability.
• Demonstrated mentorship and technical leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex propulsion system builds and engine-level integrations.
• Diagnose and resolve multi-disciplinary system failures.
• Serve as cross-program SME on propulsion systems and high-risk processes.
• Lead technical root cause investigations in partnership with ME and Engineering.
• Provide advanced mentorship and skill development for technicians.
• Support non-standard builds and rapid development efforts.
• Identify systemic process weaknesses and drive corrective improvements.
• Validate technical readiness for major integration or test milestones.
