Job summary

Ursa Major is seeking a Development Technician II, Inerts to join the operations team in Colorado. You will work with engineering and production to advance rocket motor development from early state to production readiness, contributing to LRIP readiness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Safety-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and development processes.
• Attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
• Knowledge of milling, turning, and other machining operations.
• Advanced knowledge/aptitude around mechanical systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Report to Development Team Lead and collaborate with development technicians and engineering teams to move products from early development to LRIP state.
• Assist engineers by red-lining and improving in-process work instructions and building development rocket motors.
• Work with engineering during time-critical processes to document knowledge for responsible parties.
• Adopt a flexible schedule to tackle unknown hurdles as a team.
• Provide guidance to Operations Technicians on LRIP products and issues.
