Job summary

Relativity Space is hiring a Propulsion Technician II for the second shift in Long Beach, CA. You will join the engine manufacturing team on the Aeon-R program, building and testing engine components and sub-assemblies to support the Terran R vehicle.

The role emphasizes hands-on propulsion work, reading engineering drawings, and collaborating across teams to drive design and manufacturing improvements, with a 50-hour workweek and a 10% shift differential.

Qualifications

• Experience working on engines, focusing on engine components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Strong technical and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test Aeon-R engine components, sub-assemblies, and engines.
• Support in-house processes such as precision cleaning, flow testing, and test operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing methods and lead times.
• Contribute to safety and manufacturing system improvements.
