Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach is seeking a Propulsion Technician to join the engine manufacturing team. You'll be on the front line of assembling and testing Aeon-R engine components, sub-assemblies, and engines, working with precision cleaning, hydrostatic proof testing, and flow testing. This first-shift role runs Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m. PT with a 50-hour week and 10 guaranteed overtime hours.

Qualifications

• Experience working on engines and engine components.
• Familiarity with a Gas Generator cycle engine and nomenclature.
• Experience with high-pressure fluid system development and testing.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical system integration.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Strong technical and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test Aeon-R engine components, sub-assemblies and engines.
• Support precision cleaning, hydrostatic proof testing and flow testing.
• Follow engineering drawings and instructions to build and refine processes.
