Job summary

Venus Aerospace Corp. in Houston, TX seeks an Aerospace Integration Technician to support transition from R&D to scalable production of next-generation propulsion systems. This hands-on role emphasizes assembly, alignment, and instrumentation integration in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop repeatable build processes, conduct system-level checkouts, and collaborate with engineering to refine tolerances and manufacturability, ensuring production readiness and safety.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with precision machined components such as rocket or jet engines.
• Ability to read CAD drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and high-pressure fluid systems.
• Familiarity with clean build standards and aerospace workmanship.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and fluid subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assembly, alignment, and integration of propulsion hardware.
• Execute precision mechanical operations including torquing and alignment verification.
• Develop and refine build processes, create repeatable procedures, and support tooling.
• Integrate harnessing, sensors, and instrumentation with routing and shielding.
• Conduct system-level checkouts and document deviations for engineering feedback.
• Support test operations and ensure integration integrity during development.
• Collaborate with engineering to refine designs and manufacturability.
• Help establish production baseline practices from prototype hardware install.
