Job summary

Venus Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer focused on integration to turn bold concepts into scalable hardware. You will translate requirements into test plans, tooling, and manufacturing steps, collaborating across design and production to accelerate build readiness in a fast-growing aerospace startup.

You will own process development, design tooling, validate workflows, and help establish future capabilities while working on-site in Houston.

Qualifications

• 5+ years manufacturing experience (Aerospace preferred).
• Engineering degree or 10+ years hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with CAD software; NX and CATIA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, accurate assembly instructions and develop component-level test plans.
• Act as the key technical translator between Engineering and Integration, capturing requirements and designing test plans and tooling.
• Drive process development by identifying workflow gaps, designing tooling, and validating processes.
• Conduct process planning by assessing capabilities and determining tooling requirements for integration efforts.
• Collaborate with design teams, informing them of manufacturing capabilities and assembly steps that drive cost.
• Develop inventive solutions to complex problems and resolve build issues in real time.
• Lead mixed teams through stand-up and deployment of new manufacturing processes and future capabilities.
• Collaborate with industry experts to identify key technologies and integrate them into workflows.
• Maintain clear, organized, up-to-date documentation.
