Job summary

Venus Aerospace, based in Houston, TX, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Integration Facing) to lead deployment of integrated manufacturing processes for rocket engine hardware. The role emphasizes turning ambitious concepts into scalable hardware and collaborating across disciplines to accelerate manufacturing with reliability and innovation.

You will write assembly instructions, design test plans, and lead tooling development while guiding design teams on manufacturing capabilities and cost

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or 10+ years hands-on manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Proficient with CAD tools and digital workflow software.
• Experience with PLM/ERP systems.
• Exposure to ASME/AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, accurate assembly instructions and develop component-level test plans.
• Act as the key technical translator between Engineering and Integration, capturing requirements and designing test plans.
• Drive process development by identifying workflow gaps and validating tooling.
• Conduct process planning by assessing capabilities and determining tooling requirements for integration.
• Collaborate with design teams to inform manufacturing capabilities and cost drivers.
• Develop inventive solutions to complex problems and resolve build issues in real time.
• Lead teams through deployment of new manufacturing processes and establish future capabilities.
• Collaborate with industry experts to identify technologies and integrate them into workflows.
• Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation.
