Job summary

Regal Boats is seeking a Propulsion Engineer to design, integrate, test, and validate propulsion systems for our luxury boats from 20' to 50'. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and naval teams to optimize performance, reliability and regulatory compliance, supporting concept development and continuous improvement across the product line.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of marine engineering experience, with strong CAD skills and familiarity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, or Marine Engineering.
  • 3+ years of marine systems engineering experience in boat building or OEM manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software and propulsion systems knowledge.
  • Familiarity with ABYC, USCG and NMMA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead propulsion design and integration across the Regal Boats product line.
  • Conduct propulsion performance testing, on-water trials, and validation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and service teams; support production.
