Regal Boats in Orlando, FL is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and validate onboard systems for our premium range of 20’–50’ boats. You will partner with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure system reliability, safety compliance, and performance across models.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, hands-on CAD experience, and knowledge of ABYC/USCG regulations, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Rhino preferred, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Catia, Pro-E, or AutoCAD).
  • Knowledge of marine propulsion, fuel systems, electrical networks, and onboard systems.
  • Strong understanding of ABYC, USCG, and NMMA regulations.
  • Experience with systems troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and failure mode testing.
  • Conversational English.

Responsibilities

  • Design and integrate onboard systems across Regal boats (20’-50’).
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and structural teams for layouts.
  • Test, validate, and troubleshoot systems; support prototype testing.
  • Develop technical documentation, manuals, and installation guides.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and ensure COIs as needed.
